Qualcomm presented today at its event Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit 2022, new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC

GPU
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 also features a new Adreno GPU that promises up to 25% better performance, and up to 45% better energy efficiency compared to its predecessor. There are also upgraded features of it Snapdragon Elite Gaming, As the Ray Tracing with real-time hardware acceleration in Gaming.
The company also highlights that it is the first SoC in the world to offer optimized support for the Unreal Engine 5 Metahumans Framework, and is the first mobile platform to support the Vulkan 1.3 API.
Artificial Intelligence (Ai)
The upgraded processor Hexagon by Qualcomm offers faster language processing with parallel translation in many languages at the same time, but also advanced
Ai camera functions.
The Hexagon processor features an upgraded architecture, with a larger Tensor accelerator, which offers up to 4,35 times increased AI performance, and is the first Snapdragon mobile platform to support the INT4 with 60%/watt efficiency improvement in AI.
