All this obviously has to do with a new Policy of the company, which aims to stop the baptism that the various Chinese stores do in devices that circulate.
It is known that many stores in China buy devices destined for China, and with an "Illegal" change of ROM, they baptize them as Global, and distribute them in other countries.
Xiaomi's new Policy, while perhaps in the right direction, also poses great risks to those who have already bought devices from various stores in China, as if their owners try to flash a ROM, they will end up with big problems, maybe even with permanent Brick of their device.
