Today the Poco presented to us a while ago its new flagship with the name Poco F2 Pro, which is essentially an updated Redmi K30 Pro.
Το Poco F1 when it was launched two years ago was a rare but true example of a successful flagship killer. Now, almost two years later, the time has finally come for its replacement, which will be the company's next flagship killer.
After its release Poco X2 which is essentially a mid-range Smartphone that was based on the Redmi K30, today the Poco presented to us a while ago its new flagship with the name Poco F2 Pro, which is basically a refreshed Redmi K30 Pro.
The Poco F2 Pro brings a long list of improvements compared to the F1, starting with Qualcomm's latest SoC which is of course the Snapdragon 865 with full 5G support of course.
Storage now starts at 128 GB UFS 3.1 (double before) and there is also an option at 256 GB for those who want more storage. Please note that devices do not have a Micro SD Slot for storage expansion.
In addition to the new chipset, the Poco F2 Pro has a quad camera setup with the main camera being 64MP (Sony IMX686).

Now compared to the RedMi K30 Pro, the only thing that changes here seems to be the name, as well as its basic specifications Poco F2 Pro remain the same, which is good, because the Redmi K30 Pro has very good specifications.
The battery of the device is 4.700 mAh with support for fast charging up to 30W which can fully charge the battery in about an hour. As for the screen, POCO chose to integrate a Pop-Up Selfie camera into the device instead of having a screen with notches.
The screen is certified for HDR10+ and has a touch response rate of 180Hz. Interestingly, as with the Redmi K30 Pro, the POCO F2 Pro does not have a high refresh rate on the screen, so we have the usual 60Hz refresh rate.
We return to the cameras of the device, and as we said above for the main camera we have the Sony IMX686 sensor at 64MP, with a large size sensor at 1 / 1,7 ”pro-binning at 0,8μm pixels, which also has dual stabilization via EIS plus and OIS, as well as support for HEIF image file format, as well as support for 8K video recording. There is also a 13MP wide-angle camera sensor, as well as a 2MP depth sensor. The fourth sensor is a 5MP Macro camera. The front Selfie camera is mounted on the pop-up mechanism and is equipped with a 20MP sensor. In fact, the Selfie camera is capable of producing slow motion video (Slow Motion) at 120fps.
Other notable features of the device include a larger steam chamber that helps cool and maintain consistent gaming performance, an improved vibration motor, Game Turbo 3.0, Night Vision, a 3,5mm headphone jack, and an optical fingerprint scanner. Goodix and smart Goodix amplifiers that offer high performance and noise reduction. The device also has the Widevine L1 certification required for Netflix.
