Έto new smartphone with tag "Xiaomi POCO F2 " was found to be passing Geekbench tests. The name of the smartphone clearly indicates that it is the successor of the successful model Poco F1 released in the middle of the year by Xiaomi. As usual, its Geekbench entry Poco F2 reveals some basic information about the processor, RAM and operating system.
The Geekbench listing listed on Poco F2 reveals that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM. Initial Poco F1 also features the same chipset and RAM. The Poco F2 comes pre-installed with Android 9 Pie operating system version. In Geekbench's single-core benchmark test, the phone scored 2321 points. And in the multi-core test, it scored 7564 points.
Given that Poco F2 will be equipped with the same processor and the same amount of RAM as the previous model, it seems that it will come with improvements in other departments such as the display, camera and battery. The Poco F1 features a large notch that houses a 20-megapixel selfie camera and an infrared sensor for facial recognition. Probably, the Poco F2 to be equipped with an improved screen, which will have a smaller notch.
Xiaomi's flagships have failed to gain the popularity the company expected in countries outside of China. Therefore, the company created the subsidiary Pocophone to sell cheap phones with top technical features. The Poco F1 which is made of polycarbonate is the cheapest mobile phone with Snapdragon 845 SoC.
The Poco F1 is equipped with a 6,18-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution and 18,7:9 aspect ratio. It has a dual rear camera, 5 megapixel + 12 megapixel resolution, a rear fingerprint scanner and a 4.000mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 4. Its price is low for its value, around 300 euros or less. On Christmas day, its latest variant, the Poco F1 Armored Edition 6GB / 128GB made by Kevlar.
As for Xiaomi POCO F2, we recommend waiting for further leaks to confirm its existence and to know more details about its features.

Dear Alexander,
when a company discovers that there are Fake Posts concerning its Future Models, they contact GeekBench directly, for example, and request that the post be removed from the GeekBench Database.
It has been done in the past….
Nevertheless, the above news has been republished by many well-known and major magazines, and not only that, but the post is still active on Geekbench => https://browser.geekbench.com/v4/cpu/11424549 from the first moment we searched if the above Bench is real or a result of a Photoshop.
Because as the official Xiaomi community in our country, we have a way of talking to the official Xiaomi, when asked if the above applies, the answer we got was No Comment.
