Η OnePlus today revealed it OnePlus 10T, the new flagship that has trimmed down specs to achieve a lower price but still really beats the 10 Pro in some aspects
Ξstarting from the display, the device still has an OLED display with resolution at 1080 x 2412 px, supports him refresh rate up to 120 Hz and has a color depth of 10 bit conforming to the standard HDR10 +.
The screen has a diagonal of 6,7" (just like the 10 Pro), but uses one standard OLED panel instead of the most advanced LTPO2 that the 10 Pro has.
One of two major upgrades the device gets over the 10 Pro it's the chipset. The OnePlus 10T is equipped with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and comes with in combination 8 or 16 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage for the purchase of USA, while in India it will be available in a unique option at 12 GB / 256 GB.
Η OnePlus also highlights that the device is equipped with a new 3D cooling system with a larger vapor chamber than any other Smartphone of the company.
To keep costs down, OnePlus has significantly downgraded the hardware in the cameras compared to the 10 Pro. So the ultra-wide camera and telephoto lens unit with 3x optical zoom are replaced with the unimpressive cameras on 8MP and macro in 2MP.
The good news is that the Sony IMX766 main sensor from 10 Pro has not changed, which is combined with a wide aperture f / 1,8 and optically stabilized lens (OIS), while the front Selfie camera has a 16MP sensor with large pixels (1,0μm) and diaphragm f/.2.4.
The device is powered by one battery at 4.800 mAh which supports charging SuperVOOC up to 150W, and the phone comes in its packaging with a charger at 160 W which may be the same as the one used for Realme GT Neo3 150W Edition. However, there is a problem, as in countries where the trend is in 110V and not 220V, charging the battery will be limited to 125W.
To give you peace of mind, OnePlus presents the so-called Battery Health Engine, which is expected to significantly reduce wear and tear on the battery cells in the long term. According to what is claimed by OnePlus, the battery will hold approx 80% of capacity of even after of 1.600 charging cycles.

Pricing and availability
The colors in which the device is made available are the Moonstone Black and Jade Green with European pre-orders starting today, with shipments to follow on August 25.
The basic model with the 8 / 128GB is priced at €699/£629, while the version with 12 / 256 GB has value in €799/£729.
At USA, the phone will start from the $ 649 for the model with 8 / 128 GB, while the version with 12/256GB will cost $749. Pre-orders in the US start at September 1st at the OnePlus store, Amazon and Best Buy, while shipments start from 29 Σεπτεμβρίου.
