ΜUntil today, Sony and Huawei kept the resolution on the screens of their flagships at 1080p (With the exception of Sony Premium phones, which have a 4K screen). But a week ago Sony announced the Xperia XZ3, with QHD + screen. The new information also wants Huawei to take the step towards greater analysis.
As revealed by a new user agent profile, owned by the Mate 20 Pro, Huawei's next flagship will have a screen resolution of 3120 × 1440. This resolution shows a screen ratio of 18.7 × 9, which we also saw in the P20 series. The pixel density will be 498ppi, if the rumors that want a screen size of 6.9 inches are true. Since we are talking about rumors, we also hear that the screen technology will be Super AMOLED, with curved edges, like Samsung devices.
On the other hand, the simple Mate 20 will come with a 6.3-inch screen, FHD + resolution, while it will be flat, as in the P20 and P20 Pro.
Both devices will come with the brand new Kirin 980 inside. From memory we will see 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, without the possibility of expansion. The devices will come with Android 9.0 Pie.
The announcement of the devices will be made on October 16.
