ΗHuami is one of the fastest growing companies in the field of wearables and has recently been listed on the New York Stock Exchange with excellent growth prospects. The CEO of the Chinese company, Huang Wang, was recently at the exhibition TechCrunch Shenzhen summit and there he mentioned the future of the company, as well as the next Amazfit wearables we will see from it.
Among what he said, his reference to a "revolutionary" wearable that his company will present in 2019 without giving more information was of particular importance. From what he said, however, came the feeling that smartwatches will gradually replace smartphones, which means that they aim at something particularly impressive, similar to e.g. of Nubia Alpha presented at IFA, a concept smartwatch with integrated mobile functions.
Huang Wang also said that the new Amazfit smartwatches / wearables will integrate the new Huangshan - 1 processor that allows the taking of cardiograms via AI-Cloud functions, without the need for the user to do so. They will practically check our health, without us realizing it, while he added that he will make the specific chipset available to third party manufacturers if they are interested.
