Today some of the leaked on the internet new features which will have its next version MIUI 13 from Xiaomi, which come from the well-known and trusted Leakster, bald panda.

Η  Xiaomi according to rumors, is preparing to present the MIUI 13 sometime in late August and in parallel with MIUI 13, it is also rumored that the company will announce the new Smartphones Mi Mix 4, Mi CC11 and Mi CC11 Pro.

In the last few days we have witnessed some leaks that have given us a lot of information about the specifications that these new Xiaomi Smartphones will have, as well as about the MIUI 13.

Today, however, some new features that will have the next version of the Xiaomi operating system have leaked to the internet, which come from the well-known and trusted Leakster Bald Panda, via a post he made on Weibo.

So he said to him Bald Panda, the upcoming MIUI 13 will support the fusion memory technology, animated windows for games (floating windows), new animations and sound effects and many other aesthetic interventions throughout UI, but also many improvements in the settings menus and in general in the usability of the operating system.

But let's see below in more detail some of these new features and improvements that the new will bring us MIUI 13.

As mentioned above, Xiaomi is supposed to officially announce the MIUI 13 at the end of August, however we should point out that all this remains rumors, as the company has not yet announced a release date MIUI 13.

All the information we have gathered so far comes mainly from various leaks that have been published mainly through Weibo.

The new fusion memory technology

A recent leak states that MIUI 13 will offer technology support fusion memory or in free translation - memory fusion technology. This new feature will be similar to the operation of virtual RAM (Memory Extensions), which we have seen activated on some of its new devices Vivo, OPPO and in RedMi Note 10 Pro.

This new feature will freeze a portion of the internal storage as well virtual RAM, which will help in multitasking as well as allow applications to stay in memory longer.

The screenshot below shows what this feature will use 1GB from the internal storage space like RAM and states that users should enable it when there is sufficient storage space.

MIUI Ram Extension Feature
The RAM expansion function in MIUI

Although this feature is new to Xiaomi, other companies such as Vivo and OPPO they already have it on their own smartphones. For example, the Vivo X60 Pro More, binds 3GB of indoor storage for use as virtual RAM which raises the total available capacity RAM by 12GB in 15GB. This feature will also be available in the upcoming Vivo V21.

The RedMi Note 10 Pro, which receives a new update to MIUI that activates this feature, and allows you to add additional 2GB as RAM, binding it from the inside of the device when you need it.

So depending on the RAM configuration of your device - either 6 or 8 GB, you will be able to "upgrade" it to 8 GB or 10 GB respectively.

So maybe this is his function Memory Extensions will be renamed as  fusion memory on MIUI 13, adding some extra features that we do not know at the moment.

Floating windows for games (floating windows)

We have already seen their support floating windows on MIUI 12 in several applications. However, for now, this feature will also be enabled for games as claimed by the new leaks. So we can play games not only in Full Screen but also in smaller windows (floating windows), the size of which we can change dynamically.

Of course this can only be practical in some categories of games that have static graphics, such as solitaire, puzzles, etc. and not in interactive games that use part of the screen as GamePad.

Redesigned Control Center

The new MIUI 13 as the picture above shows us, it will also have a redesigned one Control centre which will be organized in two columns. The new design of this control center will look similar to Apple's iOS, and the Sliders for controlling the volume and brightness will be able to be both vertical and horizontal, depending on the preference us.

Various changes to the operating system UI

The new MIUI 13 will also bring some changes to the overall design that the UI in relation to the current MIUI 12. So, we will have news redesigned application icons, new wallpapers, new animations, many new sound effects and alert sounds, new fonts, and a new batch of wallpapers.

If we believe what the popular leakster says, Digital Chat Station, then it is certain that MIUI 13 will be available on all devices released the last two years.

In fact, a few days ago a list of devices was released which in addition to MIUI 13, will also receive an upgrade to Android 12.
