It can fully heat water to boiling point in 3 seconds, while there are also various heating options for milk, coffee and boiled water. You can also adjust the thermostat of the device through the MIJIA application that you will install on your Smartphone. The device also comes with a smart thermos cup by MIJIA, which is impressive.
The reverse osmosis filters of the device cost 249 yuan (~ $ 35) and can provide clean water for one year before needing to be replaced. The PPC composite filter costs 109 yuan (~ $ 15), while the device is currently sold in China at a discounted price of 1.799 yuan (~ $ 251), but once the device is officially available on December 10, its price will be 1.999 yuan (~ $ 276).
It is not known so far if the device will be made available in other markets besides China.
