ΤTriple camera phones are slowly becoming standard by companies and we are starting to see the first phones with three cameras on the front. The first was Honor Magic 2, where next to the normal sensor it has two depths of 2MP. The king of selfie in China, Meitu, is preparing the second such mobile phone, which passed through TENAA.
We had informed you that the company was acquired from Xiaomi, which undertakes from the next model all the design and construction, except for the selfie-cam software. Xiaomi may also start exporting the company's mobile phones, which until now were exclusively in China.
The Meitu MP1801 is the latest mobile phone to come out of the company's product line. The selfie-cam has 12 + 20 + 8 MP sensors, unfortunately TENAA does not reveal their function.
If we guess we are probably talking about a normal lens, wide angle and depth. The three lenses are located inside a huge notch, which is partly hidden by the rhombus shape that is characteristic of Meitu.
At the back there is a dual camera 12 + 8MP, with two LEDs, one on the right and one on the left of the two lenses. The screen is 6,21 inch OLED with 1080p + resolution, has a 6-core processor, 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage. It runs Android 9.0 Pie which has plugins for the device hardware.
