Η Amazfit announced at an event held in IFA 2022, the new smart watches GTS 4 and GTR 4 as the successors of last year's models

Powerful and accurate GPS positioning
Both Smartwatches from Amazfit are the first to feature the new technology dual-band circularly-polarized GPS antenna for accurate positioning, and unobstructed signal reception from satellites that is free from environmental interference.
As the company emphasizes, GPS positioning has accuracy up to 99% (as well as portable GPS receivers) and supports five satellite systems, and can be used for real-time tracking.
Also all the data from the sports activities can even be synchronized with the Strava and the company has also added support for and Adidas Running, thanks to the new strategic partnership between them Amazfit and Adidas Runtastic. The Amazonfit GTS 4 comes in Infinite Black, Misty White, Autumn Brown and Rosebud Pink colors, features an elegant jewel-style bezel, while the GTR 4 is available in Superspeed Black, Vintage Brown Leather and Racetrack Grey colors, and the crown also features some red detailing and rubber-like grooves.
Both new Smartwatches from Amazfit feature the new biometric optical sensor BioTracker 4.0PPG, which is improved and has two more 2 LED, and has the ability to collect against 33% more data from the previous generation. In addition to this, the new sensor and – when combined with the heart rate monitoring algorithm – reduces signal interference caused by hand movement during exercise.
It can also monitor blood oxygen levels, heart rate and stress, and with the push of a button it can take these three readings at the same time as breathing rate.
The upgraded ZeppOS 2.0 which the devices run on, now allows users to choose one of two layout styles in the app menu. Also added to the enriched ecosystem of mini apps is the “Baby Records', which allows users to record their baby's sleep and feeding times, as well as two games, along with third-party apps such as GoPro and Home Connect.
It also has its new function Morning briefing, where it updates users about the day, summarizing information such as the weather, calendar events, and more. They can also provide alerts for dangerous health data, such as: high or low heart rates, low blood oxygen levels (SpO2), but also high stress levels.
