With total score 105 points, iPhone XS Max is classified in 2th place in the world, based on its photographic and video capabilities, while in 1st place remains the Huawei P20 Pro with 109 points and in the 3rd the HTC U12 +, together with the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, with 103 points.
The device achieves excellent photos, with individual scores 110 points in this category, with its testers reporting minimal weaknesses, mainly with the use of flash and in dark environments in general. In video recording the device was rated with 96 degrees, while for comparison, the Huawei P20 Pro has a score of 114 and 98 respectively, while the Galaxy Note 9 has 107 and 94 respectively.
It is worth noting that DxOMark did not try the iPhone XS as the two devices have exactly the same camera software and hardware, so he considered the results to be similar.
