Οi performance of the new chip located inside the new iPad are quite high threatening even high end CPUs of MacBooks.
Geekbench shows us the performance of Apple's new A12X Bionic, which we compare to a Core i9 8950HK, like the one in the top for now MacBook Pro! Although it is just a benchmark, Geekbench can show us how close the two chips are to overall performance, as they measure several things beyond the 'raw' performance of the cores.
The new iPad was unveiled a few days ago and based on the Geekbench result is slightly behind a Core i9 8950HK in both single and multi core result. The latter in fact presents results quite close to these numbers, but with obviously better multi core performance due to the two 4-core clusters that the A12X has.
