Νprocessors for the purchase of Xeon announced Intel which will be released in the first half of 2019. There are a total of two new members of the Xeon family. Cascade Lake advanced performance is intended for several tasks such as servers and data centers.
With them we will see the Xeon E-2100, a series for entry level server systems that will be released immediately on the market while it will be installed on compatible LGA 1151 motherboards. This confirms even more important information, that in the LGA 1151 - or at least in the Xeon compatible chipset that accompanies them - we will see support up to 128GB memory on the two channels they integrate.
As for their generation Cascade Lake, here we see how Intel promotes their high bandwidth along with multi chip design, thus reaching the new generation in 48 cores and 12 memory channels while they will be able to match two such chips in 2 motherboard sockets. Without saying much, the company only shares linpack performance against AMD's EPYC 7601 and DL Interface with Intel Xeon Platinum.
