Tesla has introduced a wireless charger for smartphones

Η The American company's newest creation is a wireless charger for smartphones and is sold to $65.

The peripheral has a simple and austere appearance, incorporates a rechargeable battery 6000 mAh along with the induction pad in the center which can charge all devices that support this technology with up to 5W when running on battery power and 7.5w for when powered by cable.

The basic connection is made by USB Type-C cable of the device while for those who have devices with micro USB connections then they will need to use the Type-A port that is integrated in the charger.

The specs of the charger are as follows:

  • Charge Wirelessly: Set your Qi enabled phone on the wireless base. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to activate wireless charging
  • Charge On the Go: Plug your phone into the integrated USB-C cable. For non USB-C ports, use the USB-A port to plug in any USB-A charging cable
  • Charge the Internal Battery: Use the built-in USB-A cable to charge your Wireless Charger from any USB port.
  • 21 hours additional talk time
  • 18 hours additional surfing
  • Battery capacity: Lithium-ion polymer 6000mAh
  • Watt hours: 22.2Wh
  • Input charging: 5V / 2A
  • Removable USB cable (USB-C to USB-A) and 1 USB-A Port
