Φit seems that its design Mate 20 Pro - which we admittedly liked very much - will pass to next year's models, starting with the Huawei P30 Pro. The upcoming flagship will have an AMOLED panel from LG and BOE.
In contrast with Nova 4, which will be announced soon, the P30 Pro will have no hole in the screen, instead it will have a large notch, apparently to house 3D facial recognition sensors. Currently, the only OLED monitor manufacturer capable of drilling holes in it is Samsung. And, of course, the South Korean giant keeps these screens for its own devices. Companies like Huawei have two options in between - either to maintain the controversial notch or to choose an LCD panel.
Now, if the P30 series proceeds like the P20 series or Mate 20, the regular Huawei P30 could arrive with an LCD panel. This means that while the premium P30 Pro will have a notch, the regular P30 will have a screen similar to the Nova 4, a design that will allow him to compete with the series Samsung Galaxy S10.
