ΈWe still have a little over a month until the official unveiling of the Huawei Mate 20 series, and the device has been the subject of multiple leaks recently. Adding to the previous information and the current one, the final design of the device is essentially confirmed, since today Dummy of Huawei's next smartphone appeared.
As previously mentioned, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro will adopt a new curved OLED front panel, creating an appearance similar to that of Samsung's latest flagships. However, Huawei seems to have gone a step further, significantly reducing the thickness of the bottom panel, and also reducing the Bezel area on both sides of the Notch screen. In addition, it has included thin Bezels (Razor) on each side of the screen.
Just like mentioned above, Huawei's next flagship also includes a notch above the screen. The Notch is much larger than expected and is ready to host a 24 MP camera with technology similar to Apple Face-ID, which will significantly improve the security of the device. Also in terms of security, the device also includes a fingerprint scanner below the screen.
Regarding the design of the back of the device, we have no image so far for it. However, previous leaks have revealed that there will be a square frame with rounded corners in the center of the back in which the camera will be located. In other words, it will be in a layout like that of the P20 Pro, which houses a triple camera and a dual tone LED flash.
In terms of smartphone availability, Huawei has already confirmed that it will officially unveil the Mate 20 Pro along with the Mate 20 on October 16 in London. Sales are likely to start a few weeks later and before the beginning of November.
