Last October, the Honor unveiled the first two Smartphones of the series X30 to Honor X30i and X30 Max, and the series is completed with its basic version X30 and a new entry in the Play series - with Honor Play 30 Plus.

Honor X30
Η Honor X30 is the most powerful device of the two, and is equipped with Snapdragon 695 at 6 nm from Qualcomm and one 6,8-inch IPS LCD screen analysis in 1080 2388 pixels x, with renewal at 120 Hz. Another key feature of the device is the ability charging at 66W, which is capable of filling the 4.800mAh battery of the phone from 0 to 80% at just 30 minutes.
The device has one 48MP main camera at the back along with a Macro camera at 2MP and one more depth sensor at 2MP. The design of the Module of the camera in the shape of a ring is clearly inspired by the series Honor Magic 3. There is a tiny hole in the center of the screen and under the headset, which houses the Selfie camera at 16MP.
The phone "runs" b over b and is available in four colors: black, silver, gold and blue. The RAM varies from 6 - 12 GB, while the storage comes in 128 GB or 256 GB.
The Honor X30 costs CNY 1.499 (~ $ 235 / € 208) for its basic version with 6 / 128 GB, and reaches CNY 2.299 (~ $ 361 / € 319) for the version with 12 / 256 GB. Official sales in China start on December 24. The Honor has not revealed details about the international availability of the devices at this time.
Honor Play 30 Plus
The Honor Play 30 Plus has lower specifications like a 6,7 inch LCD screen with analysis HD + and a refresh rate of 90 Hz, and is equipped with Dimensity 700 SoC by MediaTek. In the camera section we also have less impressive sensors, and despite the two large circular notches in the Camera Module, the device has a main camera at 13 MP and an auxiliary depth sensor at 2 MP. We also have discounts on the Selfie camera which is equipped with a 5MP sensor, which is housed in a drop notch (Waterdrop Notch) on the screen.
An area where the Play 30 Plus excels is the capacity of the battery with their cell 5.000 mAh. Charging is limited to their speeds 22,5 W. The device also "runs" Magic UI 5.0 above Android 11 like Honor X30, and is available in the same four color options.
The Honor Play 30 Plus starts at CNY 1.099 (~ $ 173 / € 152) for the version with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, and reaches 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage priced at CNY 1.499 (~ $ 235/208), a price that in our opinion is unjustified for what the device offers. The first sales in China are scheduled for December 31.
