H Honor is going to announce the Honor 8X very soon but also the bigger version, the Honor 8X Max, for which until now we knew some of its features, such as the very large screen and the Snapdragon 660 SoC according to at least the latest benchmarking.
The gossip -at least for the big version- ends here since all the technical features of the new phablet were leaked along with promo images of the company. At the same time, the Honor 8X Max is on the list of the Chinese online retailer JD.com, where the official renders reveal additional aspects of it.
The new Honor phablet comes with a huge 7.12 inch screen with a notch in size γό drop, which houses the selfie camera. The handset that also serves as a second Dolby Atmos speaker is located on the top bezel, the presence of which does not seem to affect the already high screen-to-body ratio of the device. According to the company, the 8X Max offers a body ratio of over 90% that allows it to "move" within a 6.3 "model.
The new device also comes with 18W quick charging technology that allows the user to make 40-minute phone calls with a 10-minute charge.
Listing on JD.com reveals the Honor 8X Max storage space, as well as its physical dimensions that may concern many of us. As for the first, there will definitely be a version of 4 GB RAM with 64 GB of storage (its real price is not disclosed), while the company will most likely announce more versions at its official launch next Wednesday.
As for the second, the dimensions of the 8X Max are equivalent to 177.6 x 86.3 x 8.1 mm and the weight is 210 grams. Finally, the new model has a 3.5 mm slot at the top and a microUSB port at the bottom. The available colors are red, blue and black, while for the dual camera on the back we have no additional information. Maybe in the next posters…
