Η Google prepares new data center in Denmark, which will cost almost $ 700 million and will be powered entirely by renewable energy sources. The company chose the small town of Fredericia for its new hub, as it offers very low energy charges for businesses and high security.
According to the agency Reuters, Google has placed particular emphasis on the exclusive use of renewable energy sources and has therefore signed a special pact. In fact, it is possible that she will invest in various Danish projects for the production of wind and solar energy. We see, therefore, that all large companies are turning to green solutions to reduce the operating costs of data centers.
If all goes well, Google's new data center will be ready in 2021 and will create 150 jobs for the local community.
