Today Chen Jin, General Manager of Motorola China, posted a sample from the camera on 200MP taken with the device.
The download for this particular photo posted below is at 50MP with its use 4-in-1 pixel binning of the sensor. You can examine the photo at the pixel level by clicking on it.
It is worth mentioning that the photo is compressed as shared on Weibo. The company executive told us that the 4-in-1 pixel binning is better than 9-in-1 supported on phones with a camera sensor in the 108MP, including his and his Moto G200 which was released earlier this year.
The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra which is expected to be released under the name Edge X30 Pro in China, will be able to take pictures at 50MP by default. The camera sample posted is over 13 MB, so we'll have to hope the upcoming flagship will have plenty of storage for all the great photos it'll be taking.
