In extraordinary financial assistance to his employees, total amount 6,2 million euros, OTE Group advances
With this support, the Group is effectively supporting its people in the current juncture of economic, energy and geopolitical upheavals, which have affected the disposable income of consumers.
- Up to 1.000 euros in emergency support for an employee depending on his salary
- Increases of 12% on average for the low-wage earners, the starting salary increased up to 54% compared to the legal one, and a flexible benefits package, with the new Operational Collective Agreements in OTE and COSMOTE
Aiming to low-wage earners get more support, the amount of the aid is scaled, depending on the salary, with a maximum net amount of aid ta 1.000 euro. In special categories of employees (large children with minor children, people with disabilities or with children with disabilities) the maximum aid will be paid, regardless of the amount of their wages. The extraordinary aid was decided in collaboration with the Management team and the employee representatives.

Together we make a better world for everyone", stated the President and CEO of OTE Group, Mr. Michalis Chamaz, in his message to the employees.
The new ESSE benefits all employees
Additional benefits are provided by the new three-year Collective Labor Agreements at OTE and COSMOTE companies, as from their implementation all workers will see an improvement in their income.
The new ESSEs are a big step forward, as they lay the foundations of a modern remuneration and benefits framework, which is beneficial for all employees OTE and COSMOTE. In particular, with the new Contracts:
- A modern and unified remuneration framework is provided according to the role of each employee. The starting salary of the new wage categories exceeds up to 54% the current legal wage.
- They increase the earnings of the lowest paid 12% on average, in line with the company's strategy of boosting the income of young people.
- A flexible benefits package is introduced Be-Flexi for all employees, amounting to 850 € annually. The employee himself chooses from the list of benefits offered by the company, according to his needs.
- For the first time, it is also introduced to OTE Group Pension Plan (Pension Plan) for all employees.
At the same time, the provision of the nursery is maintained, and facilities are provided (special permits, reduced hours) to parents, single-parent families, patients, and people with disabilities.
