ΟThe first photos of the Galaxy A6s made their appearance on Weibo, with Samsung's new mid-range device appearing to be the first to be made by another company, and more specifically by the one that has taken over the production of Xiaomi.
Samsung is trying to become more competitive in China, where competition in mid-range smartphones is high and the company has low sales. In addition, it is also trying to reduce production costs in order to compete with the prices sold by other companies where Xiaomi dominates.
For these reasons, Samsung has given the production of the Galaxy A6s to the company Wintech, which is the one that has taken over the production of Xiaomi, with the Korean company implementing for the first time the outsourcing for the construction of a smartphone. In this way it wants to reduce production costs while at the same time keeping the price of the device low and becoming more competitive in the Chinese market.
As the photos leaked on Weibo show, the Galaxy A6s is codenamed "Phoenix" and is visually close to both the Galaxy A7 (2018) and the Galaxy A9, the first smartphone in the world to have four cameras on the back. In addition, the back of the device shows a dual camera in a vertical layout, a back that shows that it is made of glass and a digital fingerprint reader with a more rounded shape compared to what Samsung is used to today.
